Valentine’s in October: Couples Therapy Sessions Event Promises Love, Growth, and Renewal

In an innovative approach to strengthening relationships, the "Couples Therapy Sessions" event is set to return for its third installment on October 26th at the Riviera on the Vaal Hotel. Organizer Gift Dlamini describes the event as "Valentine's Day in October," offering couples a unique blend of therapy, entertainment, and luxury.

The event, running from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, features a red-carpet experience and a gala dinner atmosphere. Attendees can expect a diverse array of speakers addressing crucial topics such as infertility, forgiveness, and finances. The goal is to provide couples with tools to mend, reinforce, or rebuild their relationships.

Dlamini, inspired by personal experiences and the book "Men Are from Mars, Women Are from Venus," created this event to break the cycle of misunderstanding between partners. "We are just not understanding each other," Dlamini explains, emphasizing the importance of communication in relationships.

The event goes beyond traditional therapy, offering interactive elements like couple games, stalls with relationship-enhancing products, and performances celebrating love through arts and culture. A notable addition this year is "spicy dishes" expert from Pretoria, addressing intimacy issues often overlooked in relationships.

Success stories from previous sessions underscore the event's impact. One couple, attending since the first session, will share their journey from infertility to pregnancy, highlighting the practical benefits of the advice offered.

Dlamini stresses that the event provides a safe, non-stigmatizing environment for couples to work on their relationships. "It's a date night, an outing, all dressed up with glitz and glam on the red carpet," she says, making it appealing even to those hesitant about traditional therapy.

Tickets are available in various packages, ranging from R1000 to R2500, including different combinations of meals, accommodation, and goodie bags. Interested couples can find registration details on the event's social media platforms or through Project CBNews.

As Dlamini puts it, this event is about understanding that "love is beautiful" and providing tools to navigate the complexities of relationships. Whether you're looking to spice up your marriage or simply enjoy a meaningful outing, the Couples Therapy Sessions promises an afternoon of love, growth, and renewal.
