Embracing Women’s Worth: A Call to Self-Love and Empowerment
In South Africa, the community's backbone of our livelihood (our mothers, aunts, wives, sisters) are celebrated once, twice, or even three times a year. Yet, how often do we truly recognize the inherent strength and resilience of what they do for society daily? Today, on March 8, 2024, as we commemorate International Women's Day, it is important to reflect on the profound contributions of women to society.

Women are born to shoulder and shelter society, embodying resilience in the face of adversity. Despite facing numerous challenges, they rise with unwavering determination, often faster and with more vigor. However, this resilience comes at a cost – a constant battle not only with oneself but also with those who obstruct their progress.

Questions arise: Are women the chosen race, destined for greatness? If so, why do we struggle to acknowledge and embrace this truth? Instead of uplifting and inspiring one another, why do we sometimes undermine each other's values and legacies?

Today, on March 8, 2024, let us initiate a transformative journey of self-love and empowerment. It is time to cherish our worth. We at Project CBNews celebrate women's resilience, honor their achievements, and commit to a culture of respect and empowerment. Together, let us embark on a journey towards realising the full potential of every woman, not just today, but every day.
